Here are some shots from my last week in Madrid. I will miss everything about the city, it’s truly intoxicating:
Museo del Prado! I wish I could have been able to take pictures of the beautiful Velázquez exhibit
Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía
I loved this museum, I think even more than Prado – there were floors and floors of Dalí and Picasso (we saw La Guernica!), and other influential Spanish artists
We finally had our tour of the interiors of the Palacio Real, and it was incredible. The royal family definitely lived the good life. Again, sorry for the lack of photos! They are really strict…
Bullfighting at Las Ventas – too cruel and bloody for my liking so I am deciding not to show those photos
We also had a tour of Real Madrid’s stadium, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. And yes, I also toured the locker rooms, aka where Christino Ronaldo changes.
Our Madre (host mom) also took us to her friend’s design studio, Devota & Lomba, who are extremely well known in Spain and you can see their latest styles featured in Vogue España. We were able to try on new designs and buy some of their sample clothes. I guess you can say I was hyperventilating.
I wanted everything…
Our Madre!!!! Bye Madrid! It’s been real. Onto Barcelonaaaa
