I created this blog for my TXMI 5901 class, which was a prerequisite to get school credit hours for my summer internship with Interiors by BLP (Betty Lou Phillips). The sole purpose of the blog was for my professor to be updated on our internships and record what we were learning. I decided to get a head start on the blog, hence why I started it in January and not in June, and ever since, I have fallen in love with blogging. It gives me complete creative freedom to say and show what I want, while allowing others to see how I think and how I create.
I always take time from my week to blog on a wide variety of topics, all centered around design. I look forward to “posting” and finding the perfect pictures that embody the overall theme of the post and blog. My blog is very personal and something I do just for me. Because everything in college is graded or critiqued, blogging is somewhat refreshing.
I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I do and that it inspires other aspiring designers!
